Wayne Freeman, noted businessman and in the area for over 50 years now has acquired a most impressive Lionel train Collection.  Beginning with the 1st small set for his son, Michael to put under the annual family Christmas tree, Wayne’s collection has burgeoned into what is arguably the largest collection in the area, if not the entire State of Florida.

Wayne began collecting from that point and soon, Vicki his wife,  said… “ No more trains in the house!”  They had overtaken her laundry room, family room and when the kitchen had the smell of train smoke….Instead of the usual smoke of a glorious dinner…  She told him to GET OUT !

This left him no choice but to build a “SMALL” train HOUSE at the end of his property.  Thus beginning the real collecting.  What began under the family tree is now a multi-tiered train layout consisting of 1000’s of trains, houses, and cars of all types.

Cattle cars, Lumber yards, Train stations, Water towers, Military trains of all types.  The list could go on forever.  Every possible thing you could imagine.  And this is only the beginning.  Wayne has built and maintains a display for all of his collection.  Miles of track for his trains to maneuver in, thru, past or over.    Tunnels, Mountains, airports, airplanes, firehouses, bridges over water, and on and on.

This collection has to be seen to be believed and following are just a few pictures for all to see.  Take a look and enjoy.  Wayne's true pleasure is for other people to enjoy his labors.

Feel free to write Wayne and tell him what you think.  Who knows, maybe someday you’ll have the chance to view, in person…

Happy Father's Day!
